€130k for Scalextric!

The world's biggest Scalextric collection has been sold for €130,000.
The collection of more than 1,000 model racing cars, were orignially set to fetch around €60,000 but scalextric fans flooded into Peter Wilson Auctioneers in Cheshire on Saturday.
The seller who wants to remain anonymous, is a British tycoon. He saw his collection, including the most prized Scalextric toy in existence - the Bugatti type 59, sell for twice it's expected value. One car fetched 3450 alone.
If The Very Happy Pig had known Scalextric toys were so valuable, he wouldn't have spent his 'piglet-hood' stomping all over them and crashing them into everything and anything in the sty!
