160 Construction Jobs For Carlow

160 jobs are to be created in Carlow by the pharmaceutical facility, Merck Sharp & Dohme.
The jobs are the outcome of the construction of a new €20m vaccines and biologics facility in the town this year. The firm says it will then employ 170 people when the facility opens in 2011.
Merck's Dr Michael Thien said that the additional investment 'is a further indication of Merck Sharp & Dohme's long-term commitment to Ireland and Carlow'.
