Simpson’s stamp home their authority

VeryHappyPig has been a huge fan of the Simpson’s ever since the emergence of Spider Pig.

We have been waiting along time for one of our own to be seen in a superhero light, we actually know Superman Pig, but unfortunately he hit the bottle jealous of his fellow super-pigs new found fame.

Anyway back to the point just when you thought the Simpson family couldn’t achieve anymore it has been revealed they are going honored with a their own special brand of stamps.

The United States Postal Service will put the faces of Bart, Homer, Marge, Lisa and Maggie on 44 cent stamps.

The stamps will go on sale from May 7.

Pyjama Man
Keeping up the secret hero theme, a have-a-go hero foiled a robbery by chasing a gang of thieves - wearing his wife's pyjamas.
Steve Hillier, 39, was woken by the sound of the two raiders trying to force the door of a goldsmiths shop near his home.
He grabbed the nearest clothes, sprinted over the road - and the men fled when he shouted at them.
Steve, of Lacock, Wilts, said: "I dashed after them, without realising I had put on my wife's yellow and red pyjama bottoms
Gamble from the Grave
When Danny Shea told his wife his dying wish, she could not help feeling it was a waste of money.
The 66-year-old, who had kidney cancer, was a racing punter with a track record for backing the wrong horse – yet wanted her to stick £250 on an outsider in the Grand National.
He didn’t live to see the race, but when 100-1 Mon Mome romped home to win, Danny’s stunned family scooped £20,310.
Widow Pat, 63, of Eston, near Middlesbrough, said: “We could not believe it. He was generally pretty useless at picking winners, but he liked to put a bet on.”

Polly is a cracker

A parrot who alerted his owner when a little girl choked on her breakfast has been named a hero.
The parrot, named Willie, has been given the Animal Lifesaver Award by the Red Cross chapter in Denver, Colorado.
Willie's owner, Megan Howard, was babysitting for a toddler. Howard left the room, and the little girl started to choke. Willie repeatedly yelled, "Mama, baby!" and flapped his wings.
Howard saved the girl by using the Heimlich maneuver, but she said Willie "is the real hero."
