Sunshine To Reign And Remain

Shorts and t-shirts were the chosen attire of an abundance of Irish people over the weekend as the Sun paid a long overdue visit to Ireland, and it seems the beautiful spring weather is here to stay.

Met Eireann weathermen warn a couple of clouds are on the way for the West of the country, but the rest of us can expect to enjoy another few days of glorious sinshine.

Temperatures are expected to stay around the 17 degree mark.

Brave Roche Sons

Irish cycling legend Stephen Roche has recently told how his son bravely saved his younger brother from cancer hell.

Florian Roach was just seven when he was diagnosed with acute leukaemia but older brother Alexis, 10, donated bone marrow to help the sick youngster recover.

“we were very lucky Alexis was compatible and Florin had the bone marrow transplant 14 months ago. Touch wood it’s going great. There have been a few up and downs but its monitored very very well. He had his first weekend out side the house last week and it talking about going back to school in September,” the former Tour de France winner explained.

Over His Own Dead Body

It seems Controversial Clergy man Pat Buckley will continue to shock and cause a stir after his death as he is all set to preside over his own funeral.

The gay priest has been prerecording a funeral service, which he wants to be played after his death at the Oratory in Larne Co Antrim the Irish Mirror claimed.

Buckley has decided the last image mourners will see at the service is a video clip of him walking off into the sunset and the funeral anthem will The Cowboy Rides away, by George Strait.

“I am doing it myself because I don’t think there will be too many Catholic bishops or priests who would like to preside over my funeral. I am working on it currently but hopefully it will need to be used for a good while yet.”
