Updated : Apr 21, 2009

Food fans are to be offered cut-price demonstrations and tastings from some of Ireland and Europe’s best-known chefs at this years Taste of Dublin Festival.

Insights into the kitchens of Michelin-star chefs Kevin Thornton, Ross Lewis and Derry Clarke, as well as their overseas counterparts, Antony Worrall Thompson and Gino d’Acampo, will be available from €15 at the festival, which begins in the Iveagh Gardens on June 11th.

More than 25,000 people are expected to attend the four-day event, which, according to its organisers, value for money is a key ingredient of this year.

Samples of signature dishes from participating restaurants include: Bang Café, Chapter One, Jaipur, LEcrivain, Rolys Bistro and Town Bar and Grill will be available at the festival, as well as a selection of chocolate, wine and beer tastings and displays from more than 100 artisan food producers.
