Robbers Flee In Fear
Updated : Apr 28, 2009
Armed robbers got a surprise when they broke into a house near Marbella, Spain, tied up a woman who was inside and then realized that they had broken into the home of actor Dolph Lundgren.
The burglars forced the actor’s wife to hand over cash and jewelry.
But after spotting a family portrait of the ‘tough guy’ and his children in one of the bedrooms, the thieves immediately fled.
Luckily for the intruders, Lundgren, a 6ft 5in black belt in karate, was out.
Police are still hunting the house breakers.
The Swede, who starred in Rocky IV in 1985 as the imposing Russian boxer Ivan Drago, still has a fighting figure at age 51 from training up to six days a week in his local gym.
He recently participated in a six-round boxing exhibition match with Russian mixed martial artist Oleg Taktarov in Moscow.
Lundgren portrayed He-Man in the 1987 film Masters of the Universe, and in the early 1990s, appeared in films such as Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991), opposite Brandon Lee, Universal Soldier (1992), opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme, Joshua Tree opposite Kristian Alfonso and George Segal, and Johnny Mnemonic alongside Keanu Reeves.
VeryHappyPig reckons the robbers can count themselves lucky they didn’t break into Chuck Norris’s house, they wouldn’t have been able to flee from there.
