Updated : May 18, 2009
Up to 50 new jobs are due to be created in Co Donegal following a decision to locate a new emergency call answering centre in the town of Ballyshannon.
The purpose-built centre is expected to be operational by the end of this year and will be run by BT Ireland.
Tánaiste Mary Coughlan says the move represents an investment of more than €10m in state-of-the-art communications.
