Pick Up The Phone And Create Jobs

11890 Directory Inquiries has launched a new jobs initiative aimed at encouraging consumers to use its service.
It is vowing to create 2-and-a-half jobs for every extra 1000 calls it receives.
In total it is pledging 90 new jobs if it experiences a surge in demand.

Meanwhile in more good news the Government has revealed details of the newly established Credit Supply Clearing Group, which will monitor blockages in the supply of credit from banks to businesses and consumers.
The group will identify cases where the flow of credit to viable projects appears to be blocked to small and medium sized businesses. It will include representatives of the banking and business sectors.
It will also let lenders address how their stated credit policies match the realities of business lending according to the Tanaiste, Mary Coughlan and finance minister, Brian Lenihan.
