Cup Of Joy--Leinster Stars Bring Cup To Hospital
Updated : May 28, 2009
Young patients at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Crumlin got a much needed boost yesterday when members of the victorious Leinster rugby team stopped by.
The sports stars brought smiles to the face of dozens of children at the hospital, recently the scene of protests over cutbacks.
Bernard Jackman showed the cup to Sarah Traynor (12) from Knocklyon while captain Leo Cullen hooked up with Chris Cromly (19) from Enfield. Shane Horgan lined up with Oran Tully (10) from Skerries.
But Tommy 0'Grady (13) from Sligo was the proudest boy in the hospital as he was overshadowed by the gleaming cup with Leo Cullen and Horgan by his side The Herald reported.
