New Upgraded Road Opens

A new upgrade to the N4 dual carriageway between Dublin's M50 and Leixlip in County Kildare has officially opened.
The 7km stretch of road will eliminate a traffic bottleneck at Newcastle and cut half an hour off the journey for morning commuters.
The €75m upgrade has been delivered on time and on budget.
Transport Minister Noel Dempsey says the upgrade shows the Government's commitment to investing in top class infrastructure, despite Ireland's current economic position.
