400 jobs announced for Clare and Cavan

A new Tesco store was officially opened today in Bailieborough, Co Cavan, creating 90 new jobs. This is second Tesco store in Co Cavan, and the 16th new Tesco store opened in 2008.
And US company Microsemi, which designs and manufactures analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits and discrete high reliability semiconductors, has announced 315 new jobs over the next 18 months at its facility in Ennis, Co Clare. The jobs will be in manufacturing, sales and technical support
