Over 20,000 comedy fans packed into Dublin's Iveagh Gardens to enjoy some light relief from the country's top comics.
Some of the best-known Irish comedians, along with major international acts, kept the laughs coming over the weekend at the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival.
Ardal O'Hanlon, Des Bishop and Apres Match took to the stage to bring smiles to the faces of thousands of Dubliners during the four-day carnival of comedy.
Carlsberg Comedy Carnival brought together more than 65 comedians to perform 44 shows over four days in a unique setting.
The festival showcased a diverse range of well-known, alternative and up-and-coming talent, as well as a lively array of performance artists.
"The atmosphere at the Iveagh Gardens over the past four days has been electric," Festival Director Bren Berry said.
"Feedback from comedy lovers and comedians alike has been fantastic, with many already talking about next year's event!
"This year, we were delighted to see some great new acts here for the first time, as well as familiar faces returning.
"The Iveagh Gardens is just full of character and that, combined with the street performers, food stalls, venues and superb line-up, combined to create the perfect mood for a comedy festival."
