Aer Lingus Is Getting Bigger!

Updated : Dec 20, 2008

Aer Lingus has said that it will be opening it's first base outside Ireland at London's Gatwick Airport from next April.

Aer Lingus says it will initially base four planes at the airport from next April, to have eight routes. The routes are to Malaga, Munich, Nice, Vienna, Dublin, Knock, Faro and Zurich
.
The Irish Airline says it expects to increase the number of planes based at Gatwick to eight within the next year..

This will create 120 jobs with an investment of more than 100m sterling.

Very Happy Pig thinks any jobs created for Irish companies is good news!
