Charlie Takes A Dip In The Cold

RTE journalist and presenter Charlie Bird was warned his heart could stop after taking on the task of diving into icy waters in the North Pole for his two-part series Charlie Bird’s Artic Journey.
Charlie, who was filmed jumping into the coldest waters in the world, was given shots of vodka to get his blood pumping again after emerging from the water in just a pair of trunks.
The US correspondent for RTE also learned how to fire a gun and came up close and personal with polar bears as part of the series.
VeryHappyPig has a fear of water, especially very cold water…… great name for the series though, RTE, really creative!!
