Green Light For 8 New Schools And €656m Education Plan

The Department Of Education has given the green light for the construction of 8 new schools for the Dublin area. More than 7,500 students will benefit from the new plan, Minister Batt O Keeffee said ”This year will be a record spend on education in Ireland and the total spend on all the projects will amount to over €656million."
The programmes will span nationwide with refurbishments to alot of schools throughout the country. The new scheme will also have provisions for much needed special needs units at many of the schools being invested in.
