Bag Passport is a global luggage tag with a twelve digit code that the owner can register online or at the point of sale.
Then anyone who finds a missing bag can enter the code and location details onto the Bag passport website which will then in turn
contact the owner.
An estimated 42 million bags are mislaid, misdirected or lost worldwide every year
Clare Councillors and Ennis students have gone banana's for Fair Trade.
It's all part of Fair Trade Fortnight where the local fair trade steering committee is encouraging people to consider where their fruit is coming from, if it's organic, and whether those involved in harvesting the fruit are given a fair deal and working conditions.
Chairperson Mairead Sheedy is hoping people will log on to fair trade.ie to go bananas this Friday, following initiatives which have already taken place at Colaiste Muire, and the Town Council, where Ennis Councillors were given bananas this week
