LUCKY CORK LADY WINS LOTTO PLUS €250,000 IN WEDNESDAY NIGHT’S DRAW
It was great news in National Lottery offices today as a lucky young lady from Cork city collected her €250,000 cheque from Wednesday night’s Lotto Plus 2 draw. The lucky lady, who does not wish her win to be a public one, purchased her ticket in Declan Guckian’s store in Glenheights Road, Cork.
The lady realised her good luck when she was flicking television channels on Wednesday night:
‘I was watching ‘Coronation Street’ when it finished two minutes early so I flicked over to watch ‘Fair City’. When I changed channels, the Lotto draw had just started and the Lotto Plus 2 draw was first. Because all of my Lotto numbers are my family’s birthdays, I know them all off by heart – so I didn’t even wait for the bonus number to be called!’ smiled the happy lady over a glass of champagne in National Lottery offices earlier today.
Plans for the win include:
‘a trip soon to Euro Disney in Paris with my two year old son; a new car in white, and doing the work to secure my future with financial investments’, said the happy young lady.
Also today a lucky Dublin woman collected her Millionaire Raffle prize worth €100,000. The ticket was bought in Eurospar, Bayside Shopping Centre, Sutton, Co Dublin. The winner, who wishes to remain private, currently has no plans for her win.
